We're getting a new back door soon, and having a cat flap put into the glass at the time it's made.
We just have a normal cat flap right now, but I'd like to get a microchip flap as we're going to the effort of putting it in glass just in case a new cat appears in the neighbourhood that might decide to come into our house.
My husband's concern is how quickly does it release? There is one local cat that is a bit of a bully, it chases our cat, and she escapes by running quickly through the cat flap. Does a microchip one take long to open?
We're concerned that if she's running away, she might bang her head if it's a bit too slow.
