I've posted here before about our 9 year old cat. About two years ago he started randomly biting us. It's really ramped up, and we're constantly having to keep putting him in other rooms because he's constantly biting our ankles. A couple of times he's lept at us and scratched.
We've taken him to the vets who give no explanation. We've changed his food, play with him lots and try to give him lots of affection (although that's becoming harder because he'll bite every time we stroke him).
This afternoon he lept and scratched my sons face. Son is 5 and was sat on the sofa looking at a book (I was next to him). Son now has a massive scratch on his cheek.
I don't want to get rid of him, but I'm not sure what else we can do?!
