New kittens next week, have we missed anything.

Long story which I posted on here, around four weeks ago we found a litter of kitten in our garden, left by their mum who is a stray. Cats protection came out and we were able to trap kittens and mum (both separately).

We were asked go be kept updated as we decided we would be interested in keeping a couple if/when they were suitable to be rehomed. Fast forward and we went and visited them all this week and we are going to be adopting two kittens! Eek!!

Yesterday we went to buy things, we have a couple of toys, three litter trays, a scooper, food, litter, bowls, and a cat bed.

Is there anything we are missing? (photos will follow next week!)

You need to go around your house and block up any holes they can possibly get into

-side of the washing machine, inside the fire/chimney etc

They can get into much smaller gaps than you would imagine

We have a cat carrier already so I forgot to mention that.

Hmm I can only think of the side of the fridge, not sure how I'd block it up though?Washing machine is only 2/3 cm each side.

It’s a bit random but get in a few lemons. If there’s a particular corner they mistake as their litter tray pop a slice of lemon there. We had a lot of kittens growing up and they hate lemons so will avoid wherever you put a slice.
