Renting with cats

just a bit of a whinge really. I HATE renting with my cat. We're here temporarily until my house purchase goes through in a couple of months.
It's a "holiday" park, basically shacks round a central green next to a lake. Sounds great but it isn't and was the only place I could find to rent that would allow my cat. It's full of people passing through and seasonal workers and I'm sure serial killers/pop up brothels Grin
DCat is 18 nearly 19 and no way I'm leaving her behind.
She doesn't have a cat flap and is going stir crazy.
She wants the door open at all times so the lodge is freezing.
She goes to the central green and takes a great big shit so everyone can see it.
She chases the much loved ducks for the hell of it and people keep complaining.
She hates being locked in while I am at work and trashes the place.
She bit someones kid when her tail was pulled.
I just cannot WAIT until we are in our lovely house and she can have a cat flap and her own garden again.

Tail pull injuries are so dangerous, the little bastard deserved it.

Have you tried zylkene? That and a daily catnip allowance might calm her down while your out. Would she take to a harness?.

That's a good idea thanks. I'll try it. She is one of those cats that just lies on the floor with a harness on and refuses to get up.
I let her out at the weekend and as soon as I get home.

She is a bit old to change now, there’s a Bengal on YouTube called boomer who’s owned by an animal trainer, he uses their favourite foods on a teaspoon in front of them to get them walking on them.

I must have a look at that. DCat gives me a good old bite during the night if she wants me to wake up and feed her.
