Kitten playing up since we’ve been away?

We all went away for the weekend and had a friend come by 3/4x a day to play with Demelza. We came home this evening and she’s acting so hyper, jumping off everything, climbing on everyone. And being abit naughty and biting evedything!

She won’t come near us apart from jumping all over us.

She’s like a completely different kitten, gone from loving and needy to horrible 😂🙈

Whenever we go away we have a friend come by who treats our cats like royalty.

When we return home one of the cats will not speak to me for a few days. He will speak to every other member of the family and is loving and cute to them. I get the pointed look, the turned up nose and the 'fuck you' tail flick.

I am usually forgiven after 2-3 days but he feels he must express his displeasure first 😂😂

She’s just gone for my hand 😐😐

Why is she being mean 😩 Dh didn’t want a cat, I wanted one so we got a cat. She’s not exactly making it easy for him to love her lol

Some food can make cats hyper, what is she being fed? Kittens need a lot of attention and play. Does she have toys?

She’s on hi life food.

She’s 16 weeks.

Our 4 month old kitten does that even if we’ve all been out at work all day.
He wants us three all day every day even if he’s not in the same room as us.

We come back from a day out and he’s running, jumping, biting.
He settles down after an hour or so

Foxton, she is very young and needs a lot of play. Does she have toys? A scratching post? Do you play with her?

We play with her constantly it feels like, her favourite is da bird and foil balls 😂

She has stretching posts, balls, mice. Her new favourite is attacking my plant 😑😑

Our cat prefers the cattery, he hates being left in the house. He also has a fuck you tail flick.

We have a cat hotel nearby but you do need to visit before booking to make sure you like the setup.

I think it might be her age more than anything else. They go through a wild stage when they are 'teenagers' (so to speak).
