World's Best or Cats Best

I know this has been done to death but i have a couple of specific questions about the 2 and also wondered what people prefer.
I bought Costco stuff recently which was great. For £15 it was nearly 16kg of litter and 2 bottles (it comes in plastic bottles) has lasted approx 6 weeks.
Unfortunately its out of stock so i need an alternative and keep reading about Cats Best and Worlds Best.
Annoyingly they come in different weights as in one in Kg and one in Litres so i can't really compare price. But would someone be able to advise how long a bag of either lasts? We used Catsan when we 1st got the kittens and were going through a bag a week which wasn't ideal!
Cats Best seems to be the cheaper of the 2 but i think i read on here that Worlds Best is better?

And know I've just found a brand called Interstand which is the same price as the Costco stuff and also comes with good reviews.
Who knew cat litter could be so confusing!

We use worlds best. The giant bag lasts us a month and that’s with 1 cat and a fancy self cleaning litter robot. We haven’t tried cats best of Costco but have no complaints about Worlds Best so we stick with it.

I prefer cats best, I have 6 cats and wish I had changed to it years ago, only thing is it tracks a lot

50/50 so far!
On Zooplus it gives you a conversion into kg. So according to their conversion a 10l bag which is approx 4.3kg should last 7 weeks. I'm using 5.3 kg a week with the Costco stuff. But do appreciate I have 2 kittens so it'll be used up quicker. But that's some difference!

Intersand is fantastic. I love it. I scoop once daily and change monthly. No smell and it clumps brilliantly.

Stupiddriver1 · 17/11/2019 20:34

I use world’s best and the 10litre bag lasts well over a month, probably getting on for 2 months. One cat.

We have cats best litter, with one xl litter tray for 2 elderly house cats a 10l bag does two weeks with just scooping and then I do a full change as it gets a little bit smelly. We used to have Catsan but that would reek much quicker and tracked around the house ridiculously.

dementedpixie · 17/11/2019 21:56

Cats best also do smart pellets which track less than cats best oko plus. I actually used a mix in the tray of smart pellets and worlds best.

I have one cat use World’s Best in a 12.7kg bag (I am in Germany). It lasts for about 3 months (no smells!)

How funny. Exact same dilemma. I was using Costco which was great - actually bought mine via Amazon as Costco had already sold out when we got our kitten who had been using it beforehand but we're now well through our supply and neither Amazon nor Costco have any.

After a bit of research I went for Cat's Best and just added a little bit to the tray this evening. Will see how it goes. I was a bit thrown when I saw it as the wood looks quite dusty which I'm not used to but fingers crossed. It's tricky not being able to switch easily so I definitely need something which I can at least easily source!

I prefer Cats Best. The small one is £5 and lasts a month in one tray.

MrsWonderland · 20/11/2019 21:02

Cat's best fans. Our litter tray comes with a great scoop/sifter thingy (not sure what you call it) which worked perfectly with our Costco litter. But now we're using Cat's Best the pieces of litter are larger and don't fall through it leaving the clumps behind. Does anyone else have this issue?
