Have watched several videos, attempted to hold firmly wrapped in a towel, and faffed about with some wierd jumper sleeve technique...dh and I are scratched to hell and haven't managed to get any eye ointment anywhere near....

Feel your pain. My cat had a seriously damaged eye last year and had to have drops and artificial tears. I popped her in the carrier and wore oven gloves at times if she was being grumpy dunno how much I got in but her eye eventually healed perfectly.
Good luck it’s hard work

Sit on him. Cat faces forwards and you hold them between your legs.

Looks bad written down though.

Snorg has them quite a lot. She's forever getting conjunctivitis because of the shape of her face. She doesn't like it, but is good as gold. Feeling smug

Get them in the cat carrier

Didn’t Queen master this technique with Ollie?

I've been having to give my girl drops 7 times a day for the last month!! We've got it down to a relatively fine art now, tuck her under my left arm to hold her steady and stop her backing away, reach round with left hand to hold eye open and then use my right hand to pop the drops in.

Good luck!
