Poo on his paw

My 18 year old boy seems to have a small lump of poo stuck on his paw, any ideas on the best way to remove it ? He doesn't like me touching his paws !

Baby wipe? Damp cloth?

Is this for real?

It's dry and hard so won't just wipe off. Sorry should have put that in to start.

Then use something damp.

It looks like tree sap. I don't think it is poo. He will lick it off if it is poo.

Drip some water on it to soften it and wipe it off
