My 12 yr old cat has had trouble eating for a few weeks. Saw vets who said she had a cracked tooth. Two weeks on antibiotics to clear any infections then in yesterday for extraction. During the procedure the vet called to ask permission to biopsy a ‘hard legion ‘ on the back of her tongue. I’m now in bits that it’s cancer. Apparently it takes up to 10 days for the results to come back. Has anyone had anything similar and it not be cancer? I’m thinking it could be an ulcer or something?! I’m beside myself here
