Can I flea early?

I’m a house keeper for a family that has pets. They have fleas. I have tried really hard not to bring them home to my cats.
But ... I feel I have failed. My question is how early can u den flea. My cat is due to have his at the beginning of the month. Can I do it now instead?

When was your cat last treated and what with? You could treat the house rather than the cat. Indorex is supposed to be good for that. Do they not flea treat their animals?
