I'm in holiday in Florida, I'll get home Thursday evening and my beautiful oriental Siamese Jasmine is at home with my partner.

Before I left I mentioned to DP that she felt lighter when I picked her up but she is so tiny, her normal weight is 3.3kg, it was hard to tell.

Last week DP called to say that he can feel her spine really prominently and he moved her food on to the counter in case DDog was eating it (she's an outdoor cat so sometimes 'eats out' when the lovely neighbour has some fish he's caught) but he wasn't too worried.

It's 9am here and DP has just called to say he was worried and took her to the vet this morning and she is just under 2kilos and they can feel a massive mass in her stomach 😞. They say it's likely a tumour and an appointment has been made on Friday at 0930hrs for me to take her to go to sleep.

I don't know why I'm posting, I can't tell DS (15) as I don't want to upset him whilst we are away and DFather won't understand why I am upset.

I'm putting my game face on as I'm washing the towels and bed linen as we fly tonight.
I can't wait to get home and cosy into my little princess.

Sorry for the rant.

Oh I am so sorry it's heartbreaking. I hope you have some lovely cuddles with her. I am sure you know the saying better a day too soon than a day to late.

Will be thinking about you both on Friday. lots of hugs.

Oh I am so sorry, that is so sad. We were in exactly the same position with our beautiful oriental girl. I hope she is comfortable, it's such a difficult time. Flowers

Thank you all. I just need to get home now. And can't say anything whilst I'm here so I'm glad I posted because I knew all would understand. She's alone just now as DP is at work and I'm so so sad for her to be alone.

She's beautiful.

I hope the flight goes well and that you're back with Jasmine as soon as possible. Flowers
