Christmas tree and 5 month old kitten

Have had kittens before. They were not the sort that climbed the curtains.

Have new kitten after many years of not having a cat and this one is exceptionally playful.

Will he destroy a Christmas tree

Probably. But it will be very cute.

Yes but you'll get lots of cute photos! Ours was 8 months last Xmas. We tried the citronella spray to put him off but it didn't so we just ended up shutting him out of the room over night.

Luckily 95% of our decorations aren’t breakable.

Unfortunately due to silly open plan downstairs he can’t be shut out.

I can’t not have a tree though.

DS is nearly 3 and wouldn’t want him to miss out the first year he probably remembers it

Just secure it to the wall with some fishing line. That's what I do every year so even if one of my car climbs the tree, which at least one will, the tree won't topple over.

Can the kitten sleep in your bedroom over Christmas?

He will destroy it. He will not rest until it has been smited.
