Cats gone missing

SadSad

We moved about a month ago. She’s been kept inside all this time. The last week or so she’s had a sniff outside and then came straight back in.

Can’t find her anywhere today. I’ve called her and she just isn’t appearing.

I hope she will turn up for her tea but I don’t know.

What do I do?

We’ve moved 4 miles away from where we lived so no where near “her” territory

Hold your nerve:) I've found that the first time cats go out in a new place they can often stay out for around 24 hours or even more. I think they must be thoroughly scoping the place. It only seems to happen the once, and then they revert back to whatever they did in their old place.

I really hope so

This is very unlike her. At the old place she would stay out all day but would be seen usually around the garden somewhere

She is no where to be seen at the moment which is stressing me

Empty contents of Hoover into garden or litter tray and hopefully the smell will be picked up. Also try some warmed sardines or mackerel from a tin in the garden. Night time is best to call out as its quieter.

She's exploring and will come back when she is hungry.

CherryChapst1ck · 15/10/2019 20:19

Yeah mine did this when we moved 7 weeks ago. She was in a bedroom drawer and not coming when we called her - this is unheard of! So do check your house thoroughly

If you've been there a month I wouldn't bother tipping stuff on your lawn just yet. She will come back

Yeah I forgot to update that the little shit sauntered to the back door at around 10.30 last night.

Had some fuss and went straight up to bed.

She hasn’t been downstairs at all today so I think she did get a bit spooked yesterday but she’s ok

Thank you for being there

Did she shoot you a look of “what?”

Soubriquet · 17/10/2019 14:53

No not at all!

She shot me a “I love you...now love me!!” Look
