De-slugging the cats tail

Does anyone else have to do this or is it only my feline friend who seems to gather them up. I think my record is 4 and I now reach for his tail in trepidation

Dd picked up what she thought was a leaf last night but it was a slug that had come in on my long haired cat! She got a bit of a shock when the leaf moved. They get caught up in his fur along with plant life

I’m glad my cat is short haired. We have a lot if snails up here...

Mine seems to lie on them and they get caught in his fur. I've taken to snipping them out as they're too squishy to pull out

Yup this has been a recent thing for my fluffy bum too. It is mega grim and I snip them out and throw them in the compost with the cat hair!
