Dangleberries

DCat has come in for the night with massive dangleberries.

He does NOT like anyone going near that area. I've tried brushing them out, washing with a wet cloth and pinching at them with bog roll. He just freaks out and attacks me. Tried swaddling him in a towel but I'm on my own and once swaddled I couldnt get under his tail to clean it.

I have some catnip, would that chill him out enough to let me near it? I'm happy just to snip the fur off if thats quicker but wary of using scissors when he's so jumpy!

He has a really fluffy tail so not easy to get underneath it without alerting him.

Any ideas? I've been bitten twice, would prefer not to have a third one!

Hygiene trim to stop it happening in the first place. Otherwise you'll just have to put up with them till they drop off!

Try some zyklene on his food.

Scissor trim for my fluffy bummed cat too. I trim every second month or so.
