When to collect kittens

We have been offered a sibling pair of kittens that will be ten weeks old on the 7th December. We are away for 4 days over Christmas (when they will be 13 weeks). I am wondering if they will be too young to leave at home with a neighbour popping in twice a day at that stage? The other option is we get them when they are 14 weeks - is that too late? Thanks

I’d take them at 14 weeks, kittens do stupid things & cant be left alone with just a neighbour popping in.

We got ours at 17 weeks and he bonded to us quickly.
