My crazy kittens.

I have just adopted two utterly gorgeous 15 week old kittens.
All's been well, they seem happy and friendly and have eaten a bit but oh my goodness....
When I sat down with my tea they went absolutely nuts, taking repeated flying leaps to land right in the middle of my plate. It wasn't a very enjoyable experience Grin
Just wondered if anybody else has encountered this and did it settle on it's own or what's the right way to react?
I've had 3 kittens before and learned quickly not to leave food lying around but they never did this.... help!!

Hmmmm I believe there’s a rule in the litter tray topic about kittens and obligatory photos.

Ohhh heh you knew what was coming! Grin

I did and am happy to oblige having taken several thousand already. It's not letting me though. I have posted one successfully on another thread in the litter tray.

I had to buy an adult sized sippy cup as evil kitten either stuck her paw in my drink or tried to tip it over.
I suppose you could eat at the table and shut kitten out. (Door could be wrecked!) Or you could blend it up and get a sippy cup too. Grin

Try this

My old cat always did this and I had her for 21 years.

I've never had to eat my dinner so fast as i have these last 2 weeks with my new family member!

imundecided · 06/10/2019 21:24

YES!! I got my kitten two months ago and he's crazy when it comes to food, jumping up and trying to eat off my plate! I've never experienced this with any of my cats before, he's calmed down a lot compared to what he was but still lovessss food Grin

I have a kitten who is just like this. Never had it with a kitten before either. He’s worse than a dog.
