So Dcat had an abscess. Took him to the vet got it popped and cleaned out ect. Tonight hes scratched the scab off and left a decent size hole. I'm keeping him in tonight normally he likes wandering at night. Should I bother the vet tomorrow? It dosent look infected and hes well in himself.

Poor cat, i'd keep him in until it's healed a bit more or it could end up so infected. Any wound that will slow them down leads them open to getting more injured as they're not well enough to run fast or defend themselves in a fight too x

Yeah I'm thinking to keep him in until another scab has formed. Hes not stractched it since he got the scab off so that must've been bothering him.

The scab coming off is sometimes good thing as it helps any gunk to drain.

But yes I would kep him in until it'sscabbed over again
