Mouse

DP is away for a couple of days. Went downstairs, naughty kitten is in the corner playing with a very much alive mouse.

I've bolted back upstairs and shut myself in the bedroom. I hate mice.

This may be my last message here as I may die of starvation in this room.

I'd be burning the house down. The advantage of having Persians is that they don't hunt!

I went back to sleep for a few hours and I'm disappointed that this wasn't all a dream

I wish I had something useful to say but I really sympathise .

I hate stray mice .I hate being in a place where a cat is playing with one even more .

If it were me I would try and get the cat away and then use a humane mouse trap . Or cut a little hole in a shoebox/cereal box baited with something and with some scrunched up paper .Leave with hole next to wall .

And go out .

This is the culprit, currently snuggled under covers like butter wouldn't melt.

I'm hungry and I need some medication so I will have to go down soon. It's been nice knowing you all.

Ok it's not a mouse, it's a live frog and I . petrified of frogs. I just threw the washing I took down everywhere and ran away.

DP isn't back until 8pm so I'm stuck in the bedroom until then.

Who will feed the cat?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/10/2019 10:36

Oh sorry - I just saw you rother post and realised you were really scared. I'm sorry Flowers.

Yes I needed to get the traffic to see if my phobia was acceptable (apparently it is!). A neighbour came to my rescue and cats and kitten have finally had breakfast
