My lovely boy is missing

Hi
After a bit of hand holding. My lovely Jack has wandered off. Haven’t seen him since Friday. We have issues with a Bengal boy down the road so hope they haven’t had a fight and he has run off. Please tell me it’s not that long and he’ll be home soon

It's really not that long. My kitty disappeared for 3 whole days once and turned up on the doorstep starving. Fingers crossed!

Grannybags · 30/09/2019 10:10

Thanks. He has done this before but always turns up on Monday morning. I know boys wander more than girls. Just keeping everything crossed

I take it you have done the Dreamies walk and put on your local cat Facebook page.x

Grannybags · 30/09/2019 10:26

He doesn’t eat Dreamies but I’ve been out calling him. Kids were going to look on the way to school too. Have put on my own FB page and will do the others if he is not back tonight.

Is he microchipped? Using a torch after dark is useful because his eyes will reflect in it.

You can also empty the hoover bag and put his tray outside, I heard heavy rain can make it difficult to find your way home again.

MarthasGinYard · 30/09/2019 12:57

Op

Everything crossed for him turning up ASAP Thanks

Might be worth knocking on a few neighbours doors so they can keep an eye out and let you know if he's seen.

paap1975 · 30/09/2019 14:30

Try leaving an item of clothing that you have worn by the front door. It worked for me.

Is he neutered? If not, neutering him will make him less likely to stray and fight in the future

Grannybags · 01/10/2019 11:13

Now it has stopped raining I’ve put his bed outside the back door. Hope he is back today.

If you haven't already, I'd definitely check with local neighbours and maybe put a couple of posters up nearby. If he's not microchipped, maybe check with local vets and animal shelters just to make sure.

Grannybags · 01/10/2019 11:50

He is neutered and microchipped

He’s home! Looks happy and well fed so I think he’s been looked after. Just pleased to have him home.

That's wonderful news. I hope that he will be grounded until he sees the error of his ways.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/10/2019 13:28

Oh that’s such good news! I do hope he’s not cheating on you with another family though.

Mine used to come home smelling of very traditional perfume.

Threetoedsloth · 01/10/2019 13:55

Oh hooray, hooray. I am so glad he's home. Minxy kit, worrying you like that.

massistar · 01/10/2019 19:19

Oh yay!! So glad to hear it!
