Cat peeing in corner

Just as the title says really.

Over the last couple of weeks our one year old boy has started peeing in the corner of our bedroom, usually first thing in the morning.

He has free access to go outside and the litter tray in another room is unused.

Unfortunately where he’s peeing is in front of my wardrobe so not a good place to put a litter tray. Is there anything I can spray there to deter him?

I think you need to rule out infection first with a test on the urine.

Could have a UTI.

Has anything changed in the house recently that the cat could be annoyed at you about?
I know that sounds like a hilarious question but when we got a second cat our first one started taking a shit on my partner at the times pillow because he was mad.

He was always fussy about the litter trays, wouldn’t use one even if the other had just wee’d. When he was younger he would happily pee and poo on our bed but he’s been fine since he’s been going outside.

I’ve put a litter tray where he was peeing so now all three are using it

MySonIsAlsoNamedBort Ever since we got him he’s been bit of a grumpy git tbh - I made another post about him and his brother but I don’t think anyone had any constructive advice!

Have you got three separate litter trays for the three kitties?
Making sure I had 1 litter tray per cat cut down on my vengeful grumpy cat going to the toilet in passive aggressive places.

I now have two, once they all started to go outside I left one tray but it wasn’t ever used, just left there as a precaution. It’s only since grumpy boy started peeing on the carpet I’ve put one back and they’re all using it. It has been quite wet here though
