Smelly cat

I have adopted twins. They are utterly identical in every way as far as looks are concerned.

One smells though! Badly! Her bottom stinks and her breath is awful. They both eat the same food (Kitten crunch biscuits - a reputable make) and wet food pouches, water changes regularly.

Help?

I think I'd be taking her to the vets. To see if they can find a cause. Having identical cats I'd great fun!

I’d be arranging a vets visit too. You can’t sort this out at home and cats hide pain exceptionally well.

Will do. Thanks!

What are the brands of food? Are they grain free?

sittingonacornflake · 26/09/2019 17:31

Whaaaaaaat are they feeding you?

AgnesNaismith · 26/09/2019 17:35

....obviously not your favourite pet!

"It's not your fauuuuult!"

I bought Burgess because so many owners praises how healthy their cats looked on it and some claimed that it contained no eggs or lactose. Can't see lactose but it certainly contains egg and wheat. One of the twins isn't smelly at all but the other is. Could she be wheat intolerant?

Could be. Ideally you want high meat with no grains/wheat

WelshMoth · 26/09/2019 22:11

Thanks demented. I think I'll have more of a look at their foods ASAP to see if that helps, if not, Vet!
