Yes I know our new cat will sleep on our beds/sofas and paper or fresh laundry just like our old cat did but humour me
What is your cats bed like? I like the donut shaped ones but I'm close to being conned by ridiculously expensive ones!

My two have a fancy cat tree which is mostly ignored, igloo types which they do use intermittently but really they much prefer our beds and wardrobes ( especially if they can find a shelf with black clothing on which they can cover in hair!).

Mine likes everything but the cat bed. Clothes left on the floor, wooden flooring, a dining room table chair but, mostly on the couch next to me.

Err no, I would save your money for Tuna. Cat prefers that mostly.

I have 3 cats. The mum and her 2 boys.
I bought them all lovely beds.
The big boy slept in them all so the other 2 refused then he also refused so I had 3 unused beds.
Now they sleep in beds and the sofa at night.
This thread has made me feel a million times better as always feel I should buy them all beds again.

He has a big igloo bed which he adores. It's lined with a real sheepskin pet mat which wasn't as expensive as it sounds!

This dilapidated Boden box is HetCat's current favourite bed and has been for a couple of months. She considers it an ideal vantage point for looking out the window, for being petted and also for drooling on.

All other previously popular "proper" beds are now rejected.

We have some radiator beds they sporadically use. The bad news is only since we moved them to the tack room, and naturally only when you want them to come out so you can lock it.

We also used to have various baskets in the barns from when we had ferals that chose to remain outside, and the fact my home seems to be advertised on the cat grapevine as a lost cat reuniting spot, stray rehabilitation and roamers rest spot. Naturally no cat has ever slept in them, until we piled them precariously on top of a cupboard, where they sometimes play a version of sleeping buckaroo on them. Of course putting them down separately on the same cupboard renders them unfit for purpose.

Oh for gods sake @YesQueen do you have to post links like that? I was measuring up his bed for one of those at 6:15am. You should put an advisory warning on it 😹😹😹
