This is very unlike her, I’ve only known her bring up either grass or birds before.
This was undigested food.

Should I worry? She is eating as normal.

Nope. Probably got a hairball. My cat is always wolfing her food too quick then chucking it up. She is 15 so definitely nothing wrong after all these years. Don't worry. Cats are pukers.

BrexitSucks · 21/09/2019 22:06

Agree. Puke-tastic.
You need more to go on before you should bother worrying.

Thanks all.
I’m a worrier about her. I grew up with 100s, well 10s, of cats and there was always puke. But this is my baby girl.

I wouldnt worry at the moment, I have 3 cats and one regularly throws up undigested food because she is a greedy guts. One throws up everytime she eats left over food such as curry etc which is a regular occurrence and the boy cat generally doesnt throw up that much but his poos are out of this world. Cats are disgusting really when you think about it, it's a good job they are cute.

@Bunnybigears Sounds just like Cheddar. I had no idea such a small cat could produce such enormous poos and so much puke.

I just came home and found my cat was sick down the wall; he snoozes on top of a low cupboard. There seemed to be loads of puke with the usual grass suspects mixed in, urgh. I do secretly think 'please no' when I see him eating grass in the garden.

I've got one that does this from time to time (as in repeated vomiting, not just a one off). Panacur broad spectrum wormer sorts her out, vet reckons she's just got a delicate stomach so if she does pick something up when she's hunting it really messes her up. She also vomits if she eats any catfood other than her regular stuff (rodents appear fine apart from the worms, thankfully).
