Introducing two kittens from separate litters

We’ve decided to get an extra kitten to keep our new kitten company. Does anyone have any advice and will and 11 week take to an 8 week old okay?
Any advice would be great, this is new cat territory for us

Our two were both 9 weeks when we introduced them, one had been in our house a few days (less than a week) when the other arrived. We just put the new cat in the kitchen with the existing cat, there was half an hour or so of skulking round each other, hiding under the furniture and eyeing each other up, then they got on with trashing house together. They're still trashing the house together at nearly 5 months 🙄

It should be fine at that young age. I've introduced two litters of foster kittens before (12 weeks and 7 weeks, approx) and after some initial hissing for the first day or so, they took to each other really well. You could pop the new one in a carrier for initial introductions for safety but I don't think you have anything to worry about...

Great thanks for the advice.

We were initially supposed to have two however we were only able to pick up one and feel our kitten is really sociable and would benefit from a wee friend.

Will keep an eye on the bigger kitten being a bit rough though, he is a particularly hyper thing.
