My cat, he's the best he's 20 years old, and we're sat in the vets as he's started open mouth breathing a few times, it was my mums funeral on Thursday and I honesty cant cope with all this, they kept saying they are concerned and talking in low voices, my cat is more than a cat he's my best friend, I'm 35, had him forever, please hand hold x

Cancer in the lungs they think, nothing positive they can do. I feel like I can't breathe with all this

I think I'm going to have to take him in 2moro, I don't think he's happy, looks fed up and hasn't eaton for 2 days, this is heart breaking

Of course you do. He’s a member of your family. Hope someone can look after your baby for a bit. We lost our old cat at 19. DH and I both sobbed. We needed to. Now we can smile at the memories and feel the love without the raw grief. But then? We needed to cry.

I can’t believe it but I’m in the same boat. My mum died last Saturday and now I’m sat waiting to find out why my cat can’t breathe. It’s not looking good at all.
