How much sick is too much sick?

TreacherousCat is (uncharacteristically) poorly Sad

He's appeared to be in good spirits all day and kindly waited for me to get home, rather than endure the horror of having either DH or DS mop his fevered brow for him.

So he threw up his dinner with a reasonable amount of hair, nothing terribly unusual at this time of year. Since then he's vomited about 8 times, now just clear liquid.

He's a little out of sorts but not appearing overly unwell. At what point do I start to worry and consider cramming him into his travelling box and carting him off to the vets?

I'd say about 4 vomits ago.....

Thank you silver, the little cherub plonked himself in the crook of my arm and slept the night through (with accompanying snores)

This morning it is as if nothing has happened, aside from the damp patches on the carpet Confused

Cheddar will have about 4 huge vomits every few weeks. But still wanted and drinks and is completely her normal self. So I don't worry about it. I'd probably give it 24 hours if they seemed well in themselves.
