Worst/Best present off your cat

I'm guessing this has been asked at some point before but what is the best and worst 'present' your cat has ever left you.

My worst would have to be a giant rat left on my sofa, never seen one like it, I was huge! I think I scrubbed the coating off the couch after that one!
The best, the neighbours baby rabbit, alive, not a scratch on it, had to take it back and apologize, I was so embarrassed! Also had a alive frog left on the sofa, also not a mark on it, just sat there chilling Grin

My old boy used to love snakes Hmm Thankfully never managed to bring them inside the house as I would recognise his distinctive 'Mum, look what I've found!' gleeful yowl and shut the door just in time. I used to live on a holiday complex and one evening heard shrieks of horror outside my apartment; I ran outside to see Rafa (surrounded by a captive audience of tourists) dragging a half-dead black whipsnake (over 1m long) around the car park.

He also used to bring lizards in, eat them then projectile vomit. It wasn't the nicest job cleaning up green, slimy puke off the floor and walls especially when he'd eaten a pregnant female and eggs were splatted everywhere 😵😷 Envy I do miss that cat though 😿

My dearly departed Harry (ginger boy) was semi feral when I got him and a real hunter. He dragged a large pigeon bigger than him, through 2 cat flaps and continued to mangle it in my hall while I tried to wrestle it off him. He also used to catch smaller birds, rip their heads off and leave the head and rest of bird on my patio, presumably as some sort of present! My lovely Merlin (black, long haired boy) was also an amazing hunter. Mice - still alive - were regularly brought in to be tormented until he caught them or they died of fright under the sofa - always a nice surprise! He also brought in a still alive bird - starling maybe - into my kitchen. It got away from him and climbed into a small space high up where Merlin could not get him. In the end I shut all the cats out of the kitchen, opened the window and eventually it saw sense and made its escape! He also caught a squirrel and left it on the door mat - my poor postie nearly had a heart attack! None of my current cats hunt at all - no idea why.

We have 11 cats, so we get mice, rats, moles, shrews, birds on a regular basis, some of the more unusual ones:

Lizards but only small, courtesy of our white BSH Lady.
Then we get into the realms of my big boy George who was a legend!
He brought back a few pigeons
2 squirrels
A kestrel!
and a wild Levitt
