My cat has an annual skin allergy issue which lasts for 6 weeks during the late summer when the fields around us are harvested. Every year she is given a steroid jab, but last year it started to wear off after 4 weeks, and this year she is covered in scabs again after 2.
The vet prescribed Piriton tablets last year which I still have, but I can't remember whether she can take them now (2 weeks after the jab) or needs to wait until the steroid jab's 6 weeks in her system has worn off - does anyone know if they can take both?
(I know the obvious answer is to call the vet, but they always insist that I would need to bring her in again to discuss it - nightmare as she's a bit of a wild one - then charge me for the pleasure!)
