Where does your kitten sleep at night?

I got a kitten 2 weeks ago and have been putting him in his room (the bathroom) every night to go to sleep. He is really good, he sleeps all night and doesn't make a sound until I go get him in the morning.

I was just wondering where other people's kittens sleep? I'd love to just let him sleep in my bedroom with me like my other car likes to do but I don't know if he's too young to break the routine yet?? Thanks in advance

Ours used to be left in the kitchen. After a few weeks/ months they got the run of the house

On my daughters head then they crept up into the bedrooms and onto our windowsills and wardrobes they like sleeping high

Wherever they bloody like.

My cat sleeps on my head or in DS' cot. The other two sleep downstairs (or in the neighbours house 🤦🏼‍♀️)

Haha they just do whatever they want! My 9 year old cat will sleep wherever he wants but god knows what my kitten would get up to at the moment if I let him have the run of the house at night time

With us/me. Now I don't have resident children catnapping them, at any rate.

The current DTwatCats sleep wherever they like, though - it's not compulsory now they're old enough to not get lost and know exactly where the Little Box of Evil is.

One tends to stay on the settee if he's not feeling sociable/cold, the other sometimes on DP's office chair, either will turn up on the spare bed from time to time and DTwatCat #1 worked out where the hot water pipe runs under the landing and will sleep there sometimes, more likely in winter when the heating is on low or under the covers between us if he gets half a chance when it's really cold

I sometimes hear the 2am WHERE ARE YOU? yell, but he's perfectly capable of hearing and understanding 'in bed, shut up' and will come in if he's suddenly feeling sorry for himself.

If yours knows where to go for litter visits, I'd look at leaving the door open and seeing how he reacts - as long as you're aware he could be under your feet, in your shoes, on your head or anywhere else when you wake up.

On the hallway carpet runner where he can attack my ankles when I need an early morning wee? Check

How can there be a thread about kittens sleeping with no pics?

Usually in the spare room. Sometimes on top of her 3 tier scratching platform, in her pyramid bed downstairs or on a kitchen chair but mainly "her" bedroom!

I haven't had a kitten for years, but when deeply lamented MorvaanCat was a kitten she liked sleeping draped over my neck.

In the top draw of my bedside table! I just opened the draw right out and put in a folded wool scarf, he loved it till he was too big! 🐱

In the spare room at night but he would sleep on any piece of clothing or bag left lying around

When she was tiny on my pillow, right against my head.

Now she floats about, and sleeps on my pillow for about an hour each night

My two kittens are shut downstairs at night. They started off just in the kitchen but gradually gave them access to all downstairs. I'm not going to let them upstairs at night as I like a good nights sleep!
