Lick e Lix has changed, and it stinks, cat hates it.

Just that really.

Have used it for years, with several cats, it is useful to kickstart them to eat, hide meds etc. I was worried that the new style packaging might mean changes, and unfortunately it did.

The chicken ones smell horrible, not that it ever smelled great but don't sniff it! It must taste bad too as it has been untouched and as a result the old style salmon one has also been eyed with suspicion and ignored.

I wish companies wouldn't mess with stuff that works. I won't be buying any more, dammit.

Apart from the Sheba ones are there any others that are easy to find in the shops?

Have you bought the cream ones or yoghurt ones?

Didn't know they had changed. What do they look like now?

New packaging, some new flavours. Chicken one was the one that worked, salmon for a change. Won't touch any of it now.

Will go and check the packaging in a bit, but reviews say they contain liver and that is what the stink must be. Cat is not a liver lover.

What I bought is yogurt with chicken, no mention of liver, however online there is mention of new treats with liver. I have no idea what is going on but it also seems I am not alone in finding they are not liked.

Have some of the Sheba ones to try but fear he has been put off now.

There is a cream version with liver.

The one I have looks like the replacement for the old chicken one but in new packaging, it isn't like the old one though and it smells of liver. The days of him eating anything he was given have gone and he hates liver (don't blame him).
