Cat dilemma

I'm prepared to get slaughtered on here.

I got a rescue cat about a year and a half ago. No issues up until now.

However, I need to move and I am really really struggling to find somewhere i can rent that will allow pets.

I hate to admit that I am beginning to think about giving the cat up :(

Could you offer a larger deposit?

Also have you actually asked the landlords directly? My contract said no pets. But my landlady was happy for me to have cats as long as I repaired any damage. They might be ok with one car rather than a huge dog.
