Are you letting your cats out in this heat? What temp is acceptable?

I have a pure white cat and so I'm more cautious. Whenever she has been out I've put suncream on her ears and nose but she hates the process and I'm very surprised I haven't been scratched yet!

I have the fan on at home also as it is baking in here but she is scared of it and hides behind the sofa.

She wants to go out but its 9.30 and already about 25 degrees

I've just brought my cat in although she's not very happy about it. She's been outside since 6am but at not even 10.30am it's now 33 degrees here.
Being a mostly black tortoiseshell she gets hot very quickly. She's also not the most sensible and I don't necessarily trust her to stick to the shade.

I'm finding it hard keeping them in at the moment.
Both mine are very vocally begging to go out and can't understand why the usually open window is closed.

I'm not letting them out today. As Snorg is black and long haired.

My girl was out first thing but is now in, probably easier as I'm at work, she has the run of the house with a fan left on in the landing & a very cool kitchen. I've been letting her out slightly later at night when its cooler. She seems happy with this at the mo.

All 3 of mine are out as much as they can be at the moment. They're pretty much either hiding in the deep undergrowth or on a cool piece of patio in the shade. Water bowls are regularly topped up (front and back garden). They're only really coming in for food at the moment and much less frequently than usual.

They're usually also spending the night out. I'm working at home so at least I can keep an eye on them
