Poor cat having partial seizures

One of my dear cats has starting suffering from partial seizures. Nothing dramatic and only last a couple of mins. Several vet visits later, including a period of horrendous medication side effects, there is nothing else on offer. Does anyone have any ideas on home remedies that could help?

@PinkSparklyPussyCat good news all round I think. Black boy cat’s was better after a good night’s rest so decided not to take home to the vet and there wasn’t any blood or swelling. Glad about this because he gets so scared in the car he just pees and poos everywhere! Vet said to bring him in if there is any sign of infection.

DGirl cat had her blood test to measure epiphen levels, hasn’t had any more seizures and now she’s off the diazepam she’s much brighter too. Will need to keep her on the epiphen but so happy she’s getting back to her old self again!

That's really good news, I'm glad she's improving and that he didn't need to go!

That sounds like good news. :)

Black boy cat took a turn for the worst! Nasty abscess on his paw so had to go to the vet after all!! Antibiotics and anti-inflammatories for 10 days. Medicating 2 cats now every day is a nightmare but ... the things you do for kitty love?!
