Poorly kitty

I have a poorly cat. She vomited up what looked like a hairball this afternoon. She vomited again this evening but it was just watery. She also has a little diarrhoea (the smelliest I’ve ever come across!) She’s off her food which is very unlike her. She’s just very sad looking and lethargic, wanting to just lie around and sleep.

I know vomiting isn’t that uncommon in cats, at what point do you go to the vets?

If she's lethargic then take to vet's. I would be worried about a poisoning of some kind...

The occasional hairball/tummy upset is normal if the cat is otherwise acting normal and it's a short term thing (half day/one day etc.).
