So Charlie and Lizzie went to the vets to be neutered, one phone call later and Lizzie re-named Leo .... Amazing the assumptions I'd made. Eg thought was an urgency to neuter given Charlie had started to mount Lizzie, now realise that was a dominance display. All those aloof stares from Leo probably his disdain at being mis-gendered .....

Sorry Not Lizzie, I laughed out loud at this post.

In a previous generation of our cats we had a very attractive short haired grey boy kitten who turned out to be a very attractive short haired grey girl kitten.
We just added a 'y' to 'his' name.

We have a male cat called Ivy thanks to a vet telling us the fetal kitten we'd found was female
