I want to go out. YABU I'm not making it stop!

We take a bit of your rain! It is over 30° already here so Mia has decided to cool off a bit on the table. She is an indoor cat with access to a rooftop terrace but it is far too hot outside.

Well my two have been out, what's the problem!! Ollie came in this morning rubbing his lovely wet body against my legs. Boris looks like a drowned rat, so I quickly pu the laptop on my lap as I didn't fancy a wet lap cat!

Mine does that - gaze out of the dining room windows and wail inconsolably at me for not making the rain stop. Eventually though, he resorts to Plan B - pad round to the front door and wail at me till I open the door to prove that it is not only raining at the back but at the front as well.

I'm just a cat servant. And a pretty disappointing one at that.

They are indoor cars. But enjoy a run round the garden. They are both currently sulking. I have waited in all morning to have a new smart meter fitted. (Don't even want or need one) and it can't be done as it's raining and the meters are outside.

(Don't even want or need one) You don't have to have one if you don't want one. They're not compulsory.

You mean you can stop him with a laptop? UtterlyUnimaginativeCat2 just tramples across the laptop, performing CatLikeTyping(TM), and then plonks herself down, purring, across it. My keyboard is permenantly covered in cat hair.

All four of ours were out last night - they all came in this morning looking rather moist and leaving wet footprints everywhere.

Toddlerteaplease · 25/06/2019 15:26

I had the same thought about being able to stop a cat with a laptop. It wouldn't stop cheddar! Mine don't mind getting wet, but I can't get their dirty paw prints off the sofa if they do!

It's 35 °C in the shade here and Sev just dropped down in the middle of the doorway hoping for a draught (there is none). He likes water and would go out in the rain and then come in wet to sprawl over my desk and keyboard.

annabelle1992 · 25/06/2019 18:41

Mine likes to jump on white bedsheets after a good old trample trouble the nearby muddy wasteland whenever it rains 😀

Toddlerteaplease · 25/06/2019 19:03

This innocent looking madam has left paw prints all over my clean sofa. But, when she looks at me with her big eyes I'm putty in her paws, so all is forgiven.
