Local cats bullying my cat

Hi everyone - my poor cat is being picked on by two local cats. They yowl outside our house every night, and lounge in our garden during the day, and are mean to our cat. She is polite, but sometimes chases them off. Mostly ignores them. They ambush her and stop her coming home. She's not scared of them per se, but when she does manage to get passed them and get home she often hides under the bed.
I don't know what to do really - have started throwing water at them (terrible I know - it never hits them though) - but what can I do to get them to eff off? our cat now doesn't really want to go out, but is trying to get out the front door. Am worried that she will get run over. What can i do? Thanks for any advice

Keep throwing/spraying water at them. Running towards them waving your arms around will also scare them (and possibly your neighbours). You need to be persistent and hope they move on. Our lad has had another boy cat coming to call for him but we've not seenor heard him for a couple of days.
I assume your cat is neutered? Just checking in case they are interested in her

Yes, she has been done, about a year ago, just before we got her from the rescue. One of the offending cats is a 'complete' male, but quite old. I don't know if maybe they're not being fed (Must.not.feel.sorry.for.them). It's hard being a cat lover isn't it. I'd look after all of them if I could, but have to protect my one in this instance. She's only little - it seems so unfair!

If I was you I’d snaffle the undone Tom pop him along to be neutered by CP (say he’s a stray) let him back out 😉 That’ll stop his nonsense.

I have thought about that book especially when he got into a fight the other week and had a swollen eye, then he disappeared for a few days and I forgot about it!
