Cat didn't come back last night

I have a gorgeous 2 year old tabby girl. We live in a semi rural location and both she and her brother go out in the evening but pop back at dark. He came in later than usual at around 11 but she hasn't been back. I know this because she comes in via a window in our bedroom. I barely slept last night worrying. Going out now to call for her but can't stop thinking the worst. I guess I just want reassurance that the chances are she will be back.

Just to reassure you, I think they do like to stay out longer in the summer months. Mine will dash in when it's cold or rainy but find somewhere nice to sleep overnight in summer. I sure she'll be back soon for her breakfast!

She's back. Waltzed in through the front door and shot me a look as if to say, "what's the problem?" Feel like such a silly for worrying. I hope I am not alone in this regard and thanks for your reassurance x

I'm glad she's back.

Good she's back. I've had to learn to park the worry for at least 24 hours. Really should be longer in the summer but it's too difficult!!
