Cat and Kitchen Table......

BaconAndAvocado · 23/05/2019 19:44

So our little Honeycat has taken to sleeping on the kitchen table every night leaving behind her a mass of hairs.

I try and clean them off every day before dinner but always miss a few!

How can I get her to stop sleeping on the table?

Put a cat bed on it, she’ll never go near it again Smile. You could try covering the table in foil, they’re supposed not to like the noise.

Ours isn't allowed on the table either. I keep finding him sprawled put fast asleep on it.

Yeah put a cat bed on it. Or a few towels. The Bunz has seasonal bedding preferences. She might like the coolness of the counter.

Yes ours isn't allowed on the table. Not sure where all the paw prints come from....

Squirt some lemon juice on it for a few nights in a row.

We also found one of ours wouldn't go near anything with a hairdryer on it.

It smells nice as well.

Put a cardboard box out

It's as if they know they are being discussed..... I went in the kitchen earlier to find ours fast asleep stretched out on his back, legs akimbo, airing what bits he has on top of some fabric table mats.

I vacuum our table.

Me: "C'mon cats , you know you aren't allowed on the table"

Dexter: "Me? I never go near the table"

( The CatCam shows him quite clearly dancing about on it . Is this admissible in court? )

Tarot: "Yeah, what-eva . Nag Nag Nag"

I just tell them not to. Easy innit Wink
