Best flea treatment?

I have three cats and have just spotted a flea on my bed where they nap, can anyone recommend a very good flea treatment before they take hold?

The only non-prescription one that works is Advantage. Otherwise, stuff from the vet's.

You might need to treat the house too - Indorex is best for that.

viccat is right. I think you can get Indorex at the same places you get Advantage - Chemists/Pets at Home/on line

I've bought Indorex online before, Viovet I think or one of the other pet pharmacies. It doesn't require a prescription or anything. Read usage instructions carefully so you don't poison pets or humans...
