New black kittens need names

Someone abandoned some kittens outside our local vets :(

They're the last thing I need as I already have one older cat, but once I saw them I obviously agreed to take on two!

DC will have final choice but would love some name suggestions - I don't know if they are/we will take boys or girls. I prefer people names.

DC suggestions so far: Hazel (like) Midnight (dull) Pinky (daft!)

So what shall we call them? They're coming home on Friday

My two black kittens from last year are called Karl and Lenny - bloody silly Battersea names which stuck. You are welcome to reuse!
I also had a black cat years ago called Enoch.

Maybe bible names as it's been Easter?

I have an Ollie (Ollivander) so maybe Ollivander, Sirius, Luna, Dobby.... HP themed!

If you're Marvel fans then T'challa, Shuri, Nakia, Erik Killmonger!

Or you could go all literary get 3 and call them Jekkel, Jessup, and (one eyed) Jill.

Haha! I think 2 is probably the limit :) these are all good, I will run them past the DC when I tell them we're definitely getting them ( extreme excitement alert!)

I've had two black cats and called them Toodles and Java, which worked well for them. Good luck with the kittens!

I once saw an absolutely gorgeous all-black cat. I was informed that his name was Jason

We had a black cat named Salem.

I fostered black kittens we called them Lily and Tonks. We used HP names a lot, we had a Hermione who, amazingly was rehomed with a cat called Weasley.

I also fostered a black car called Salem.

My next door neighbours have a black cat called Sooty.

Our black cats are called (Black) Treacle and (Bonfire) Toffee.
How about Macavity and Misty (Mr Mistofelees?) TS Eliot was good at naming cats.

I like Midnight, even if it’s not imaginative.

We had a black cat called Merlin. I have a black Persian callee Magic and her identical sister was called Maia

Stella and Sirius came home today :) they have middle names too as it's so hard to choose. They're currently galloping round DDs room where they're going to live while our older cat gets used to the idea. Pic of Stella on my lap
