She was in dire need of grooming! (Yes I do think the bath is not needed)

She looks very sad....I take it she’s never learnt to do scratchy-bleedy?

SoupDragon · 15/04/2019 17:26

You're doing that without a full Kevlar suit and gauntlets??

ScreamingValenta · 15/04/2019 17:26

I'm laughing away at that first picture! I've never seen such a resigned expression on a cat before.

Was Cheddar watching smugly from the sidelines?

YesQueen · 15/04/2019 17:32

Ollie is reading over my shoulder and is HORRIFIED. I've never tried to bath him, he screams enough when I'm in the bath "drowning yourself mama, humans stupid" Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 15/04/2019 17:33

No Cheddar is at home. She was done last time.

Oh dear, you will pay for this dearly I think!

agnurse · 15/04/2019 17:49

She does not look very impressed.

In all fairness, some cats DO like water. Our Jayda likes to come and climb on Mum when Mum is in the bath. Sometimes she will sit on the edge of the bath and dangle her tail in the water. (Although if she does start to fall off Mum she gets out of the bath very quickly!)

Toddlerteaplease · 15/04/2019 18:04

She's as good as gold. No claws. I will not pay for it! She was purring at the end.
The finished article

She looks lovely and shiny!

boringlyboring · 15/04/2019 18:10

Isn’t she lovely!

Inarightpickleandchutney · 15/04/2019 18:12

Omg she’s gorgeous with her fancy blow dry! I do think you need to sleep with one eye open though, that was not a happy kitty!

Wolfiefan · 15/04/2019 18:16

She’s so plotting your imminent demise. Shock

Toddlerteaplease · 15/04/2019 18:20

She was purring at the end. She clearly feels much more comfortable. She's so gentle, I'm in no danger!

OP posts:
fortifiedwithtea · 15/04/2019 18:20

She will wait until you are asleep then smack you in the eyeball.

Wolfiefan · 15/04/2019 18:27

Purring is lulling (phone changes that to killing) you into a false sense of security. Or she’s already decided your punishment and that is why she purred. Or she isn’t a cat. Cats do the very best revenge. Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 15/04/2019 19:11

I've never been convinced that she's a cat. She doesn't like boxes and uses all 5 of her beds.

OP posts:
Wolfiefan · 15/04/2019 19:15

She sleeps in her beds? Well that proves it. Not a cat. Definitely not a cat. But what?! Confused

YesItsMeIDontCare · 15/04/2019 19:18

Oh she does look very very sparkly and gorgeous in that after photo. Leroy sends a nose-boop. •

Toddlerteaplease · 15/04/2019 19:28

@Wolfiefan my sister thinks she's an inanimate amoeba that only moves if she thinks the house is on fire. The vet described he as a bean bag or a cushion that breathes.

OP posts:
NW2SW · 15/04/2019 19:39

Glossiest little bean bag I ever did see 😍

agnurse · 15/04/2019 19:52

She VERY pretty girl, especially after her bath!

I wonder if she is related to our Biggie. We are not sure the Big knows he's a cat either. He has almost no hunting instinct and tried to make friends with a dog once.

Wolfiefan · 15/04/2019 20:27

You can relax then. The vet is first. And then your sister. You’re safe for now. Grin

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 15/04/2019 21:25

Harry says she's looking more gorgeous than usual.

They have a lot in common - Harry doesn't like boxes and sleeps in his cat bed!

Minkies11 · 15/04/2019 21:28

That's the shiniest cushion I've ever seen Grin
My DM refers to my cats as 'furry snakes'. They don't seem to be quite cat shaped at all and love to paddle chest deep in my bath water Blush

Toddlerteaplease · 15/04/2019 22:32

Honestly, she is the second most placid cat ever. (Cheddar is even more placid. And has never used her claws in anger) she will not murder me in my bed! (She left that to Fatty who would try her best to suffocate me)
