Ive recently taken on a little feral (a whole different thread), well I say feral, he started his life feral but his preferred position is upside down in the crook of your arm and likes to sleep on my shoulder with his head under my chin. He's only 10 months old and I am utterly smitten. He's refused point blank to leave the house since he got here - he has discovered fire and bed!
He had his second booster Friday, yesterday he was quite quiet but tonight he's crying if touched and seems stiff. He's just gone up and down the stairs and struggled a bit. He was able to jump on the bed though and is curled up next to me asleep. Could it be a reaction to the vaccine? I'm thinking if he's off colour in the morning then vet. Which will mean bribing someone as I'm on 2 crutches and can't drive.
I just want to pick him up and cuddle him but don't want to hurt him. It was such an anguished cry when I stroked him he is definitely in pain somewhere.
