If so, please tell me all about them and post pictures of them so I can live vicariously through you 😬
I'm in love with raggies and desperate to bring one home but am unable to at the mo, so share yours with me please 😭

They are amazing and I love my two so, so much. So squishy, cuddly, happy, funny, demanding , just lovely cats.

I have a 4 month old ragdoll kitten and just love her. I’ll post pics later.

@Poddingtonp (or anyone else who can answer!), can I ask you a question? My kitten has blue eyes, but the coloured iris part is quite small, she has big black pupils. Do you know if the blue bit gets bigger as they grow up, or is she just not destined to have huge blue eyes?

Marilynmansonsthermos · 05/04/2019 21:18

I have one they are lovely, sweet, gentle cats, however they are very highly strung. Mine is so sensitive she can't cope with any change in the house. She suffers from stress over grooming ever since we had our little boy as she doesn't like the noise. Our vet says it's quite common for pedigrees as they are very sensitive.

Poddingtonp · 05/04/2019 21:28

My babies are 6 years old this month!
We got them as rescues from a registered breeder who also runs the northern branch of ragdoll rescue.
Regarding the eyes, I’m really not sure! Is she not just quite alert/giddy all the time hence the big black pupils? Mine go from having tiny slits in the day to big black buttons when they are giddy.

Benji13 · 05/04/2019 22:30

Our lovely rag doll rescue Lily. She’s very different to our moggies. Very people oriented but has her own mind. A sensitive girl. Quite territorial!
I volunteer with a rescue and have to collect a beautiful raggie boy tomorrow

I'm loving the pics so much. They look so soft and beautiful.
I didn't know that about them being sensitive to change, but I guess it makes sense with their gentle sensitive nature!
And I'm also surprised by the territorial thing..is that common? How does yours express that? Also @Benji13 What do you do when you volunteer?

Oops posted to soon. I was just going to say, I would love to volunteer with a rescue but have no experience with rescue centres and have no idea how to go about it.

There is no way we'll ever have another pedigree for exactly those reasons, it'll be a might for us next time roundGrin

I love the catty pics!

I've never quite seen the attraction of ragdolls, since I discovered Persians by accident!
Prepares for flaming.

I can't believe you'd say such a thing @Toddlerteaplease the ragdoll is the ultimate beauty of a cat 😍.

I won't flame you though, I just showed my 4 YO son your pics though and he says "they are very pretty" ..I'm still team ragdoll though 😄

@EatShitBoswell your son is the only person who has described my two as pretty! Everyone thinks they are ugly HmmSad

tessiegirl · 06/04/2019 14:35

I'm here for the pics too...I love ragdolls. I really hope we can have one (or two!) one day...
Can I ask if you all let your beautiful cats outside or are any of them house cats?
Are ragdolls known to be particularly affectionate?
Thanks! Grin

tessiegirl · 06/04/2019 14:36

Love the pic of Jasper watching The Aristocats! He has gorgeous blue eyes...
