Birthday boy

Today is the day we've given our lad as his birthday. Two today! April Fool's day seemed quite appropriate somehow..... He's had a bit of chicken and played with his new toy (feathers and fluff everywhere). Flaked out on the sofa now.

Him nice boy! It looks as if he's enjoyed his day!

H! We decided that today is our youngest cat's birthday too! He's one year old. Here he is with his look-a-like bowl.

I hope he had a nice birthday. Some chicken and a new toy is a great way to celebrate! They are both lovely boys!

This has reminded me that 7 years ago today, we went to choose one kitten and came back with 2.

Did they grow into those ears?

They did eventually. Haru is in the bag. Godzilla is looking rather disapprovingly at me and posing on the table.

This is Gatsby when he was a tiny kitten. We adopted him a year ago last Christmas, when he was 2 months old. The other pic is the lovable rogue more recently, having chosen the best seat in the house - on his mum. (He was rejected by his mother and hand reared. He promptly decided that I'm his mum.)
