The only products which kill ticks are Frontline ( all the other fipronil containing products like efipro), Bravecto, broadline, seresto and stronghold plus. My favourite is Bravecto it has the fast of kill for fleas and ticks and last three months, if you use the plus version it also kills roundworms.

I’ve got a new oral tablet for fleas and ticks. Lasts a month and 99% of cats will eat it .

@DobbyTheHouseElk there are no tablet products for cats in the U.K. that effectively kill fleas and ticks. There is Comfortis that only kills fleas and lasts one month, and a Johnson's product that kills fleas there and then, but has no lasting affect. Neither kills ticks.
As far as I am aware there is not a flea and tick prep in Europe for cats that is in tablet form.

I got one this week from my vet. I was using Broadline, but was recommended a tablet.

Credeilo. For fleas and ticks.

Thank you had missed that launched it is the same drug family as Bravecto.

Lonecatwithkitten Ok, I’m glad I wasn’t mis sold by my vet. I was starting to worry. She said it was really new. I have to worm separately with a tablet, but it’s only half a tiny tablet every 3 months so I can do that.

The vet said the broadline was good if used correctly. She said it’s such a large volume of solution, it’s it’s not all on the skin it won’t work, where as a tablet that 99% of cats happily eat is a more effective way. Also it has a faster kill rate for the fleas and ticks. My cat has very thick fur and getting to the skin is very difficult.
