Pawshake

Has anyone used Pawshake for pet sitting/pet visits? Is it legit? I'm trying to find someone to feed my cat and got a reply from someone on there but now I'm worried in case it's dodgy or something.

I've never heard of it but doesn't mean it's not legit of course... Cat in a Flat seems to be a good one, I know someone who catsits through it and another person who has used them regularly for her cats.

Alternatively ask your vet's for recommendations or post on a local Facebook group to ask who others have used.

Or ask local catteries if they do visits. That's how I found my sitter..

Pawshake was recommended on a local group which is why I looked them up initially but now I also have the details of a local veterinary nurse who cat sits which was also recommended. I'm supposed to meet the pawshake lady but might just go with the other one....not sure what to do really. I'm really nervous about giving my house keys to someone I don't know but am going to have to make a decision at some point as I don't have a friend who lives near enough to ask.
