The little shit hasn't come home again

The other problem is I have to leave a window open to the garden for His Catness so can't really sleep, every creak is either him or a burglar. DP somewhat pissed off, it's every time he has to get up earlier than usual the cat does a disappearing act for days. You'd think I'd be used to it but here I am trying to read a book, listening for the cat - as he does also like to come in and yowl at DP to let him know he's home...

He’s probably watching at a distance, waiting for you to feel at your most guilty...bad cat!

Normaknowall · 25/03/2019 01:53

Just rolled in after 24 hr absence, carrying a mouse like a fecking kitty kebab. Then plopped himself on the bed. Male animals....

My little horror has just graced us with her presence!
Can you shake the biscuits? Mine comes from 3 miles away at the sound of the crunchies Grin

WatcherOfTheNight · 25/03/2019 01:54

Aww cross post ! Glad he's back little devil lol

Boredgiraffes · 25/03/2019 01:55

He knew you were talking about him and he finally had an audience! The mouse was just a token to offer to you as a loyal subject

Normaknowall · 25/03/2019 07:06

Tin shaking doesn't seem to motivate him, it's on his own damn time!

The mouse is DEFFO not for me, it is his late night snack, which he carries into the bathroom to "play" with and then noisily consumes.

I am graciously allowed to clean up any unwanted organs. If not, DP invariably steps on the remains in his bleary eyed morning progress.
Sigh.

Why don't you have a catflap fitted for him? Sounds like it would be better for all concerned.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/03/2019 19:36

That is a What? Look he’s giving you. He’s a beautiful boy.

Dippypippy1980 · 26/03/2019 18:51

Cat flap is the solution. Then he can come and go as he pleases

TheSecondMrsAshwell · 27/03/2019 14:21

Grin Grin Grin Grin

Kitty kebab.

He isn't slurping from a can of lager and watching Jeremy Kyle is he?

Normaknowall · 27/03/2019 18:47

MrsA 😄not yet, but the evening is young....he does get onto bed expecting a cuddle after rolling in with his "snack" though.....

Doing anything to the windows is not an option unfortunately, otherwise I would get a catflap like a shot. He does tend to roll in about 10-11pm so we're usually about.
