Senior cat food

It has come to my attention that my cats are old! Not sure how I missed it, but they are 13 and 8 and therefore classed as senior. The 8 year old is in perfect condition (the vet was practically flirting with her) and the 13yr old has had his fair share of dramatic health problems which have been one off/not linked to anything else and has recovered every time (even his heart murmur appears to have fixed its self).

Until now, they have survived on supermarket dry food and supplemented with wildlife the 8yr old brings home. However I feel like I should be getting them a better quality food for their golden years.

So my question is, what do you all recommend? I would prefer to keep their main diet as a kibble but with pouches on the side.

Mine has James Wellbeloved. He'll only eat the turkey pouches but he has a rotation of senior fish or turkey and housecat duck dry (he's not strictly a housecat but he doesn't move much!)

Mine is 11. Has always just eaten whiskers ( what he was eating when he came to me ) and nothing I could do to change that.

Recently I tried Lily’s kitchen. And he loves it. Not sure if it’s food for seniors or not but it is still better than whiskers so I’m sticking to it.

I go with what mine will eat 😂
